If you are good at driving to the basket, then practice your outside shot and practice it endlessly. That way, when defenses take away the drive, then you can hit the outside shot. The better Jordan got at the outside shot, the better chance he had to beat the Pistons, who wanted him to drive. He came close to beating them this particular year, and then swept them the next year. Take a lesson from MJ: never stop improving. Let this be a lesson to young players.
